Effective January 1, 2005, the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) requires that all REALTORS® complete a 2 1/2 hour course of instruction on the REALTORS® Code of Ethics as a condition of membership. Furthermore, it is required that every REALTOR® attend a continuing education class on the Code of Ethics every four years.
